OUR STORY
Built on Legacy, Driven by Values
The story of De Voorwaarts began in 1984, when Anton and Gerda Derksen founded a modest administration office in the Netherlands. With dedication, integrity, and personal service at the core of their work, they built lasting relationships with clients and laid the foundation for a trusted financial advisory firm.
Over the years, as client needs expanded, so did the vision. What began as a small operation gradually grew into a full-service office offering financial administration, tax advisory, and strategic business support — all rooted in the same values it was founded on.
<In 1996, the firm was officially renamed de Voorwaarts Administratiekantoor/ Belastingadviesbureau, reflecting its broader expertise and growing presence. Professional recognition followed, including membership in the College of Tax Advisors in 1992, which later merged into the Register of Tax Advisors in 2010.
<As De Voorwaarts evolved, it remained a proud family business. André Derksen and Josca de Winter-Derksen joined the company, bringing a new generation of leadership and vision. In 2012, André took over part of the shares and assumed full management of the office — continuing the family’s commitment to reliability, service, and trust.
